Another season, another price hike.
In August 2025, Louis Vuitton introduced a second round of U.S. price hikes, with most styles increasing by approximately 2 percent. This comes just months after the April increases that already pushed up the price of icons like the Speedy and the Neverfull. But what does this mean for the Louis in your closet or on your wishlist? Let’s unpack it.
2025 Price Increases
Just a week after LVMH reported disappointing revenue in April, Louis Vuitton raised its U.S. prices for the first time in 2025. The Speedy lineup rose $80 to $90, a 4.4 to 5.1 percent jump. The Neverfull increased $100 across all sizes, about 4.7 to 5.1 percent. The Noe BB rose $70, and the CaryAll PM and MM jumped $230 to $240—increases of 8.6 to 9.4 percent—on top of their $100 bump in 2024.
August brought another round of price increases. Most styles rose about 2 percent. The Neverfull PM, MM, and GM all increased $40, while the Speedy Bandouliere stayed flat at $1,980. The Pochette Metis saw a price jump of 2 percent as well, and general Alma styles (including the Alma BB and PM) climbed by roughly $40.Â
The Alma BB in Epi leather was the real shocker.
Price Surge: Alma BB in Epi
After its $90 increase in April, the Alma BB in Epi climbed another $460 in August. That’s a 21.8 percent jump this year, taking the bag from $2,020 to $2,570 in just a few months. This is significant because Louis Vuitton doesn’t typically move a core style by double digits in a single year.
The Alma BB in Epi just got re-positioned into a higher price tier, which impacts retail buyers and resale value. If you already own one, your bag is now worth more. If you are shopping for one, there is a brief moment to grab it pre-loved before the market catches up.Â

Invest in the Best
Louis Vuitton price hikes are an annual event (sometimes more than once a year). These steady increases are one of the reasons Louis Vuitton bags hold value so well. Each adjustment turns the bags you already own into better investments. If you want to make the most of it, now is the time to sell your Louis Vuitton bag, or pick up the piece you’ve been eyeing at FASHIONPHILE before the prices rise again.Â
